When you sign up to encrypted email you will have to activate the encryption for your SureMail™ account and install the Outlook toolbar before you will be able to use the service.
- You will receive an encrypted email in your inbox that will contain a link that you will click to start the setup process.
- You will be brought to the encryption Web Panel. FIll in your email address, name and a password. This password will be seperate from your current SureMail™ password. If you change your SureMail™ it WILL NOT change your encrypted email password.
- Click Register.
- Click Done! Log me in.
- This will log you into the encrypted email web panel. To install the Outlook plugin click on Enable with Office Outlook button on the left hand side of the screen.
- Next you should follow the on screen instructions by closing Microsoft Outlook and the downloading the plugin by clicking on Download MS Outlook Toolbar.
- After you install the plugin click the Activate with <Your organization name> Secure Email button an confirmation email will be sent to your inbox.
- In Outlook by double-clicking on the confirmation email.
- You may have to restart Outlook in order for the changes to take effect.
