Installing Citrix - Web Panel - Trusted Site - Compatibility Mode - Disconnecting - Citrix Bar


To prevent any issues accessing the Citrix Web Panel and your SureDesk™ we recommend setting as a trusted site in your web browser.

How you make a site trusted depends on what internet browser you are using.


Internet Explorer

  1. Go to Tools menu
  2. Select Internet Options
  3. Security tab
  4. Select Trusted sites
  5. Click on Sites button
  6. Make sure is shown and click Add
  7. Next go to Tool Menu again
  8. Select Compatability View Settings
  9. Make sure is shows and select Add


Mozilla Firefox

Firefox does not require trusted sites.  The only step needed to ensure SureDesk login works is to go to:

  1. Go to
  2. Select the Firefox Menu
  3. Select Add Ons
  4. Select Plug Ins
  5. Select Always Activate Dropdown next to: Citrix ICA and Citrix Offline PlugIns


Google Chrome

  1. Go to
  2. Click on the wrench for the main menu
  3. Click on Options
  4. Click on Under the Hood
  5. Select Network
  6. Click on Change proxy settings…
  7. Select Security tab
  8. Click on Trusted Sites
  9. Select Sites button
  10. Make sure is shown and click Add
  11. Click Close than click Ok


Apple Safari

  1. Go to
  2. Go to Mac Utilities
  3. Click Keychain settings
  4. Find the certificate and select Trusted under the drop down menu.
