Installing Citrix - Web Panel - Trusted Site - Compatibility Mode - Disconnecting - Citrix Bar

Before using the SureDesk you must install the Citrix receiver on the computer you will be accessing the SureDesk.

If you are having trouble logging in try uninstalling the citrix reciever and reinstalling it.

Installing on a PC

  1. Go to the Citrix website at
  2. Click on Download Receiver for Windows.
  3. Accept the license agreement and click Continue.
  4. Follow the onscreen directions to finish installing the Citrix Receiver.
  5. Once the Citrix Receiver is installed go to
  6. Setup the portal as a trusted site.

Apple Install

  1. Close all of your apps.
  2. Open Safari and go to the Citrix website at
  3. Click on Where can I download Citrix Receiver on other platforms and devices?
  4. Select Mac.
  5. Click on Download Receiver for Mac.
  6. Locate CitrixReceiver.dmg in your Downloads.
  7. Click on Install Citrix Receiver.pkg.
  8. Agree to terms of license agreement.
  9. Click on install to start installation of the Citrix Receiver.
  10. Enter Apple password you created when setting up your Apple user account (usually done right after purchase of computer.)
  11. Once the Citrix Receiver is installed go to
  12. After the information is verified, please enter your log in credentials provided to you in the welcome email.
  13. Click on Add Apps on the Receiver home page.
  14. Click on + tab on left side of screen, click on All Applications and select application to add to Receiver home page.
  15. Once the application is on the home page as a favorite, the application can be launched directly from the receiver.
  16. Click on the icon and the SureDesk will launch automatically. Once the application opens, it is ready to be used.
  17. Setup the portal as a trusted site.
